Nourishing Soul

So far, so good. The first week of their off-tract is so relaxing. I am liking it actually, so does my precious little boy. The weather has been good. We had been to the park a couple times, my little girl is learning how to ride her bike without the training wheels. She said, look mom, I am a big girl now. It’s the weekend but we don’t have any specific plan about it. Whatever comes to our mind, is what we are going to do. No pressure, we will take it easy. It’s hubby’s rest day and we should let him take his day-off. He loves to snooze a lot and forget all the worries in life. LOL! I might do a little cleaning this weekend and after that, maybe a movie or do some shopping. Yes, shopping always makes me feel better. Why not?

Yap! they are officially tract-off for three weeks. We went to sleep late last night and of course wake up late as well. I just got up and I’m trying to bake some goodies. Maybe we can go for a little picnic nearby. Weather is good we might as well take advantage of it. It won’t last long before the snow visits us again. They are still asleep, I am preparing a brunch for them. Breakfast and lunch together. My son just got up and on to his game. His vacation to the max. Just a little note here and take care everyone!

Just got back doing my volunteer work. Kids are pretty excited, it’s their last week of school, after this week they have a 3 weeks vacation. It’s nice to have a vacation, my son needed it the most. LOL! He told me he has been working hard and he needs a break to play or else he will go crazy. Pretty funny, and he will get his needed rests eventually. I am thinking of enrolling them for swimming again but it will start on May. We won’t be able to do that cause we will be going to PI comes way. In fact, I still need to check if we needed some vaccinations for our trip. It’s better to be safe than sorry. Got to go, have a nice day everyone!

We had a good time at my friend’s birthday yesterday. A lot of friend came and we had a blast. The food was fantastic, there’s always chatting, laughing and a lot of stories to tell. My kids were there too and some of my friend’s kids. They were having a lot of fun as well. If it weren’t for a Sunday night we could have stayed longer but the kids have school tomorrow so I stick to my schedule and went home early so that the kids will be in bed at around 9:00pm. Everything went fine and I can say it was a beautiful day. Goodnight everyone and have a wonderful week ahead!

Can you believe it? February 2009 has ended, time flies in a blink of an eye. Was I thankful that February is over? Am not sure, it’s beyond my control. LOL! But anyway, I hope the new month will be better, it has to be better. It’s Saturday, and we have a birthday to attend tomorrow. Yes, a little party for a friend, I will be the one bringing her cake so I’m excited about it. There will be a pig roast and some other Filipino foods that we enjoy. I am pretty sure, it will be awesome. Hubby and the kids will be there, so it’s kind of like a family affair. Okay, got to go and order her cake. Have a very good Saturday and enjoy your weekend!

Morning is exhausting so far. I have been in and out running errands and I hope by afternoon it will get done. Weather wise, it’s fine, typical February weather. Kids are at school and I will be picking them up around 3pm. I still have plenty of time before then, I must get things done by then. I stopped by at the library to pick up some books for Kaya and I met a long lost friend. I thought she moved somewhere cause I never heard from here for quite sometime. But yet, she did not, she’s busy with kids, she has two kids now. I know the feeling, I have two myself and it’s double the trouble. LOL! We said goodbye and promised to keep in touch with each other. Watch a movie or have some tea on weekends.

Yes, it’s here again and the kids are excited to have a playdate after school. I woke up quite early to prepare their lunch to take to school but when I look at the calendar, it’s Friday and I don’t need to. They eat at the cafeteria every Friday since it’s a “Pizza Day”. So I just clean their backpacks and check their homework and see if everything is ready. Everything is set and I am glad it’s not a stressful morning for me. The drive was not chaotic and we got their plenty of time to relax, talk a little and then they went inside the classroom. I’m back and I am also ready to start my day. Enjoy!

The weather is a little funky but since the kids don’t have to go to school everything work out fine. Hubby is busy working trying to finish up before the end of the month gets here. Honestly, time flies so fast and who have thought that February is almost done. The good thing is Spring will be here and then summer. Time to have a lot of outdoor fun. I am glad hubby got us a ticket to go to Asia and visit my folks, he won’t be able to come with us since it’s only for a short time, he said he’ll come next time. I am kind of nervous thinking it’s just me and the kids but I can do it. The thing is, I will be able to see my brother after 12 yrs. We have not seen each other that long.

Yes, today is the day of hearts. And I want to wish you all a happy day. Not much going on here, kind of busy trying to get things done and hopefully everything will work out the way I want it to be. I was at my kids V-party yesterday and all of them had a great time, exchanging cards and sweets. Hubby is taking us somewhere to eat tonight. My son is excited because it’s his favorite restaurant wherein there’s a slide and also a dancefloor. Although they always play country music but somehow it’s fun for him. Interesting. Ok, got to go finish everything up and get ready for a fun day. Have a great one y’all!

Aside from being cold, it was a great day for the most part. I was in and out doing some errands and I am glad everything got done before it’s time to pick up the kids from school. Just in time, and now they are here, relaxing for a little bit then do the homeworks later. They have plenty of it everyday and sometimes it’s just too much for them to handle. But, they do it anyhow. I am there to guide them and make it easy for them as much as I could. Anything helps. I am getting tired of the cold weather as usual. It’s going to be cold for the whole week. Hopefully, next week will be better. Just a little update and I am wishing y’all a very good day!
