Nourishing Soul

Oh well, it’s possible if the snow stop. We might go to Sam’s and Costco, and maybe Castle Rock also. I heard they have some good deals in there. Hubby is trying to get things done and start the wishlist and get it done early. You know, he is a last minute guy and this time he wants to get it done early. Maybe he is tired of his old tricks and see if the new one works better. We will see. It’s going to be pretty cold so i prefer shopping in an inside mall. Castle rock is great but it’s an outside mall which is not so good on this kind of weather weather. The only thing is my son hates shopping and prefer to stay at home and do some computer stuff. Oh well, he needs to do this sometimes go out and have fun.

No school, so no pressure. We were awake late and just started our day. My little boy can’t control his happiness. He keeps yelling and jumping off the ceiling. LOL! Pretty excited for the coming holidays plus they don’t have school. The weather is pretty warm today. Very uncommon for this time of year. They need to read a lot of books for their break so in a little while, I will take them to the library, pick-up some books and maybe after a stroll in the mall for a little while. I might find some good deals, and get lucky today. I don’t like to shop Black Friday, too much people so crowded hard to navigate from place to place. Murmuring just a little bit here before I start my day. I have a wedding to attend later and I am getting ready for it. My kids are still on their deep slumber which I am glad co’z I need some quite time as of the moment. My little girl is going with me to the wedding, she was excited about it. Not to mention she had a very good time yesterday at the two parties we attended. And today, another one again. Off to the shower now, and have a very good Sunday everyone!

I was invited to a wedding this coming Sunday, November 23rd. It’s going to be a very busy weekend for us. On Saturday the kids have two parties to go and on Sunday an affair for me. Hubby said, he wanted to go to a meeting that teaches how to build a deck/patio but he can’t cause he has to watch the children on Sunday. I told him there will be more time and more meeting for it so he can do it next time. Gladly, he was fine with it. As I was looking for a perfect black dress for the occassion, I thought I can never find it but I did. It’s a pretty black dress, just perfect for it. The price is right so I grab it without second thought. It fits perfectly.

After I dropped the kids off at school this morning, a friend of mine called me up and asked if I like to go shopping with her. She said the place where she works is going to have a sale and other stores as well. I told her fine and if it’s okay to pick me up. Yes, we are still saving some gas, carpool is one way of saving. She said sure and get ready by then. Hubby has also a meeting and will be home later so I need to get back before the kids dismissal. I hope I can find some good deals and start my Christmas shopping early so that I can get it done early as well. No hassle, no problem.

I was at the kids school doing my weekly volunteer. My son’s teacher wasn’t there, only a substitute. I can tell she is having a hard time with the kids. It’s probably a long day for her or maybe she’s no longer used to dealing with 24 feisty children. She was so glad, I was there and helping her a little. I was putting all their paperworks on their “Thursday Folder”  and there were lots of paper to put in. LOL! My back is aching a little bit from bending  and standing and doing it all over again. But I am glad I finished it all and the kids can bring it home and show to their parents what a good job they have done so far.  Life is good and enjoy every moment of it.

It’s a new week, and our weather is great so far. It’s a pretty warm weather on this kind of year which is great. I am hoping for once, Halloween  will also be a great day, no snow not that cold, just fine. Kids are excited about it and can’t wait for it to come. I will be busy again this week. Volunteering and getting things done inside the house. I have lots of things to put away, and I am starting to send some packages for Christmas little by little. I have not talked to my folks back home, about what they want for Christmas. Money is always good LOL! I’ll see what I can do. We all know that our economy is sinking, God knows when it will pick up but I do hope pretty soon. The sooner, the better. Take care everyone!

I am excited that it’s the weekend, time to spend some quality time for the family. We all need it, we need to spend time together. It’s cold as usual but tomorrow we will be on the upper 60’s. I might take the kids to a movie or something, hubby needs to blow out the sprinkler system before it froze. He always do it at the last minute all the time. He is a very busy guy, he said. Always at the last minute. I need to get some stuff for my box so that it will be on it’s way and will get there before I do. hehehe. I’m also keep putting it off. The excitement was gone, now I am procrastinating. Anyway, have a very good weekend and enjoy every moment of it. CIAO!

Just got done voting, and I am pretty full now cause hubby treat me to a good  lunch right after. Now, I am back here facing my lappy and trying to get some things done. hehehe. I am getting so hungry right now, but I need to get this one done so that I won’t forget. And oh by the way, November is here and I know it’s a very special month for some. Thanksgiving is coming then after that it’s Christmas. A very busy time of the year. My kids will be off-tract comes November 27 untill New year. They will be back after then. It’s going to be a long December for them with no school. But they will be excited since it’s Christmastime. If my parents were here they would love spending time with their grandkids but they are just so farway. Very far, thousands of miles. They have to wait till the kids are old enough to travel by themselves. They would love to visit them. But anyway, join me in welcoming November with open arms. Have a good day y’all!
